Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

What to check before you buy

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Between cars

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.

Our area

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Twentythree. We cover about 250 km around Toronto; at about 1,404 km, Twentythree is outside that.

For buying in Twentythree, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Ask us about Twentythree in a request; a person answers honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
