Shopping for a car in Uncas

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Checks worth doing

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

While you shop

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Where we are

Our only location is in Toronto; Uncas is outside the area we serve. With Uncas about 2,675 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

Shopping in Uncas? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you want to check something for Uncas, send a request; a person replies honestly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
