Shopping for a car in Unity

If you are looking for financing for a car, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

Questions to ask

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

Between cars

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.
