Buying a car in Upper Kintore

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

Before you sign

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

While you shop

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
