Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Before you sign

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Before your next car arrives

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.

Honest about distance

There is no CarmaCars location in Upper Wheatfields; everything we do starts in Toronto. Our delivery reaches about 80 km from Toronto, and Upper Wheatfields is about 2,647 km away.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
