Auto Loans in Upton

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Questions to ask

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Between cars

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.
