Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

Questions to ask

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

Before your next car arrives

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Our reach

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Villa Cundo. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Villa Cundo, about 3,118 km away, is beyond that.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Still have a question about Villa Cundo? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
