Shopping for a car in Walhalla

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Questions to ask

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

A car meanwhile

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.

Where we are

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Walhalla. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Walhalla, about 549 km away, is beyond that.

For buying in Walhalla, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
