Shopping for a car in Wallace

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

A buyer's checklist

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

While you shop

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.
