Shopping for a car in Ward

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

Questions to ask

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.
