Shopping for a car in Weircrest

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.

Questions to ask

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

A car meanwhile

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Reach and distance

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Weircrest. We rent from Toronto. Weircrest is about 385 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Send a request about Weircrest, and we reply with a clear yes or no. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
