Shopping for a car in Wheelwright

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

Before you sign

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Bridging the gap

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.

Distance, honestly

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Wheelwright; we work from Toronto. We cover about 250 km around Toronto; at about 771 km, Wheelwright is outside that.
