Buying a car in Wimmer

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

What to check before you buy

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

A car meanwhile

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

Our reach

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Wimmer. The distance is about 1,455 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Ask us about Wimmer in a request; a person answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
