Shopping for a car in Windsor

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

What to check before you buy

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

Bridging the gap

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Distance, honestly

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Windsor is outside our area. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Windsor is about 802 km out.

Shopping in Windsor? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Questions about Windsor? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
