Buying a car in Workman

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

What to check before you buy

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car.

A car meanwhile

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

Honest about Workman

There is no CarmaCars location in Workman; everything we do starts in Toronto. By straight line Workman is about 1,116 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Shopping in Workman? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you still want to ask about Workman, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
