Buy a Car: what CarmaCars does

If you are looking for a car to buy, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try.

A test drive that lasts

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Questions to ask

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

Before your next car arrives

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
