Car Financing in Ames, OK

Buying a car in Ames

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Checks worth doing

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Bridging the gap

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

Reach and distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Ames. Measured in a straight line, Ames is about 1,796 km from central Toronto; we deliver within about 80 km.

For buying in Ames, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
