Shopping for a car in Appleby

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

What to check before you buy

Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

Before your next car arrives

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

About distance

Plainly: we do not have a location in Appleby. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. We deliver within about 80 km of Toronto. Appleby, about 1,411 km away, is beyond that.

For buying in Appleby, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Appleby if you like. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
