Car Financing in Atherton, CA

Car Financing in Atherton

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

A test drive that lasts

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

Questions to ask

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

A car meanwhile

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.

Where we are

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Atherton. About 3,649 km in a straight line separate Atherton from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Send a request with what you need in Atherton, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Next step

Tell us the car you are considering, and we will help where we can.
