Car Financing in Avis, VA

Before you buy in Avis

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

What to check before you buy

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Before your next car arrives

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.

Honest about Avis

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Avis. About 635 km separate our location in Toronto and Avis, far past our 250 km delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. For buying in Avis, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Tell us what you are planning in Avis, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

Over to you

Rent it for a week, then decide: send a request with your dates.
