Buying a car in Baker

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

A buyer's checklist

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

A car meanwhile

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.
