Shopping for a car in Baker Trails

Shopping for a car in Baker Trails? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

Questions to ask

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Before your next car arrives

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
