Buying a car in Bath
If you are looking for financing for a car, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.
Drive it like you own it
A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.
Before you sign
Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.
A car meanwhile
There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.
