Buying a car in Baxter

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

Buying smart in Ontario

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Bridging the gap

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Distance, honestly

CarmaCars is not in Baxter. Our one location is in Toronto. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Baxter is roughly 1,553 km away.

Shopping in Baxter? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are unsure whether we can help with Baxter, ask; we answer plainly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
