Shopping for a car in Becket

Shopping for a car in Becket? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Buying smart in Ontario

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

While you shop

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.
