Buying a car in Blackleaf

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Drive it like you own it

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

Questions to ask

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

Bridging the gap

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Where we are

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Blackleaf is outside our area. Blackleaf is about 2,598 km from central Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 80 km we deliver to.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Blackleaf, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you still want to ask about Blackleaf, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
