Car Financing: what CarmaCars does

Shopping for a car in Brae? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Questions to ask

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

While you shop

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

A note on distance

CarmaCars is not in Brae. Our one location is in Toronto. About 1,222 km in a straight line separate Brae from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Brae? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. For anything about Brae, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
