Car Financing in Brampton

Before you buy in Brampton

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Brampton, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. You can collect the car from us for free, or have it delivered to Brampton.

Questions to ask

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

While you shop

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
