Car Financing in Bridge Point, MD

Buying a car in Bridge Point

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

What to check before you buy

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

A car meanwhile

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Reach and distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Bridge Point. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Bridge Point is roughly 587 km away.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Tell us what you need in Bridge Point, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Still deciding?
