Buying a car in Bruce

Shopping for a car in Bruce? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

What to check before you buy

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

Before your next car arrives

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

What we cover

Bruce is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. Delivery covers about 250 km around Toronto; Bruce is about 1,376 km away.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Ask us about Bruce in a request; a person answers honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
