Car Financing in Chapelgate, MD

Before you buy in Chapelgate

Shopping for a car in Chapelgate? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Questions to ask

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Before your next car arrives

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.
