Shopping for a car in Cherryfield
We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.
Rent it before you buy it
Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.
Before you sign
Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.
Between cars
Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking.
