Buying a car in Claypool

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Questions to ask

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Bridging the gap

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Distance, honestly

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Claypool. At about 703 km from our location in Toronto, Claypool is past the 250 km our delivery covers.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Claypool, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Need something in Claypool? Send a request and a person replies with an honest answer. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.
