Shopping for a car in Clemscott

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Drive it like you own it

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

A buyer's checklist

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Bridging the gap

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Honest about distance

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Clemscott; we work from Toronto. About 1,881 km from our location in Toronto, Clemscott is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Send a request with what you need in Clemscott, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
