Buying a car in Clinch

Shopping for a car in Clinch? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

What to check before you buy

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Between cars

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
