Shopping for a car in Collier Mill

Shopping for a car in Collier Mill? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Checks worth doing

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Between cars

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

What CarmaCars covers
