Car Financing in Collins, IL

Buying a car in Collins

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Before you sign

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Bridging the gap

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Before you plan around us

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Collins is outside the area we serve. Collins lies about 1,100 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Collins, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you still want to ask about Collins, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
