Car Financing in Columbus, MO

Car Financing: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Drive it like you own it

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

Questions to ask

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Bridging the gap

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.

Where CarmaCars works

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Columbus is outside the area we serve. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Columbus is roughly 1,335 km away.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Columbus, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Send a request about Columbus, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
