Buying a car in Covington
Searching for car financing in Covington? To be clear, CarmaCars rents cars; it does not sell them. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.
Drive it like you own it
Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.
Questions to ask
Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.
Bridging the gap
You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.
