Car Financing in Covington, KY

Before you buy in Covington

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

A buyer's checklist

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Bridging the gap

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.
