Car Financing in Crapo, MD

Buying a car in Crapo

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Checks worth doing

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Before your next car arrives

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it.

Toronto based

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there.
