Car Financing in Daugherty Estates, TN

Buying a car in Daugherty Estates

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Checks worth doing

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Between cars

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
