Car Financing in Dent

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

What to check before you buy

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Bridging the gap

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.

Renting from Toronto

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Dent is outside the area we serve. By straight line Dent is about 678 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Dent if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
