Car Financing in Derby

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Questions to ask

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Between cars

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.
