Buying a car in Diamond Dot

Shopping for a car in Diamond Dot? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Questions to ask

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

Before your next car arrives

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.

Our area, and Diamond Dot

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Diamond Dot is outside the area we serve. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and Diamond Dot is about 2,400 km away.

Shopping in Diamond Dot? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you still want to ask about Diamond Dot, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

One more step

Tell us the car you are considering, and we will help where we can.
