Shopping for a car in Dobbin

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

Before you sign

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car.

While you shop

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.
