Buying a car in Dundee

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Buying smart in Ontario

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

Before your next car arrives

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

Our area

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Dundee. With Dundee about 1,762 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. For buying in Dundee, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Need something in Dundee? Send a request and a person replies with an honest answer. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
