Shopping for a car in Elgin Corner

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

A buyer's checklist

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Before your next car arrives

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.

Honest about distance

We are based in Toronto; Elgin Corner is not somewhere we have a location. At about 576 km from our location in Toronto, Elgin Corner is past the 250 km our delivery covers.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you want to check something for Elgin Corner, send a request; a person replies honestly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
