Shopping for a car in Epping Forest
CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.
Why rent first
Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.
Before you sign
Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.
Between cars
Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.
