Car Financing in Equality

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

A buyer's checklist

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

A car meanwhile

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.
